Search Engine Optimization for Blog Posts: Part Two

March 24, 2013 in Members Blogging

Search Engine Optimization for Blog Posts is the Keyword or Long-Tail Keyword we have chosen for this post. Obviously, this series of posts is about Search Engine Optimization for blogs posts (SEO). I personally try to write my posts as if I was having a conversation with my reader sitting right across the room from me.

So, as I stated in our last “conversation“, you want to determine the:

  • Who?            Who is your audience that you want to reach with your blog?
  • What?           What is your subject that you want to share with your readers?
  • When?          When is the time frame of your subject matter important?
  • Where?        Where will you be sharing your information?
  • Why?             Why are you sharing your information? and
  • What for?     What knowledge do you want your audience to gain from reading your information?

I have a copy of this and when I am doing search engine optimization for blog posts, I keep it right beside me as a guide. I also make an outline of the subject that I am going to cover. This helps me to break it up with Headers and organize the content.

Search Enging Optimization for Blog Posts

OK, Let’s Think About It

The Where, is for where you plan to share your content. You might share it on your personal blog, a guest blog somewhere, an article submission site, a press release. What do you want your audience to remember and share with others after reading this?

Seach Engine Optimazation for Blog Posts Causes Frustration

Search Engine Optimization for Blog Posts?
Are you kidding?

We would like to take a few moments and show you a few suggestions. Once you learn the basics, it will become second nature to you in no time at all. It will actually become kind of fun, after you get the hang of it. You will want to learn more and more.

So, let’s just start with the basics to get you started. You will soon learn to do Search Engine Optimization (SEO) well.

Search Engine Optimization For Blog Posts

The first thing you will need to do is to decide just what it is that you are going to write about. What is your message?

You might want to think of:

The next thing that you will want to decide is a “Keyword” or “Keywords” is some circumstances that you will want to focus your topic on. For search engine optimization for blogs in Word Press, though, we recommend just one keyword.

You can also focus, sometimes, on what is called “long tail keywords” which is a fancy way of saying, a phrase. Just consider what your reader would type into a search engine to find the information that you want to share with your reader.

Search Engine Optimization For Blog Posts and Keywords

Keywords are just that, a keyword that your reader would look for to find your information. Keywords, plural, are more than one keyword that you might use.

It mostly depends on where you are posting your article or blog as to how many keywords you can define. It is always a good idea however to just focus on one keyword or long-tail keyword so you are just focusing on one subject.

Long-tail Keywords are phrases as opposed to one or more words. For an example, in this article, we use Search Engine Optimization for Blog Posts. This is a long-tail keyword.

Using only the keywords “Search Engine”, would not make sense for our purpose here. However someone might be looking for a “search engine” or “search engine optimization”. They just may not be specifically searching for search engine optimization for blog posts.

Search Engine Optimization For Blog Posts

Example: Getting Started

We will use this very post as an example of how to write a search engine optimized blog post. So let’s get started, OK?

Most posts and articles should be approximately 300-600 words, depending on where you are going to share them. Therefore, this post will be a series of posts. I will have to write this as a series because of the length.
Sometimes however it might be a good idea, to do a series of posts, because it keeps your reader coming back, however, sometimes it is just necessary. It depends mostly on the length of content.

If the money is always in the list then how do you develop your list?

money is always in the list image

One way of building your list is through your own website.

From the moment you launch your new network marketing business, your website should have a form, either in the website itself or one that pop-ups separately, that asks the visitor to give you their name and email address. You can give them an incentive to sign up, like a free report. Or you can simply ask them to sign up for your monthly or weekly newsletter. Whatever you do, you need to start capturing the names and email addresses of your visitors.

Only a small percentage of the visitors to your website will be converted into buyers on their first visit.

Without the names and email addresses of your visitors, you won’t have any control over whether or not these people ever return to your website. And statistics show that it takes over 7 visits to a website before a prospect buys a product.

With a list of your visitors, you can email them on a regular basis and get them to come back to your website and purchase your product.  Once you have the names and email addresses of visitors to your website, you can contact them on a regular basis about new products, special discounts and offers, or just give them valuable information that will motivate them to want to visit your website and look around.

Keep in touch with your email list and you’ll create a strong bond with them. People like doing business with other people they can bond with. By connecting with the people on your email list, you increase your chances of getting them to convert into buyers.

If someone buys a product from you, they’re more likely to purchase more products from you in the future.

Inside the Minds of Winners

March 8, 2013 in All Members

Do you know what you want?

Have you got a plan of action?

Are you carrying this out?

We become so busy with detail we can easily forget about the big picture. Taking time out to think about what you want to achieve,  how your are going to do it, and then coming back to reassess whether you are following your goal and plans is well worth it.  Write it all  down somewhere you can easily refer to it.

Once you have your main plan then you can work out how you are going to advertise and set up a schedule for doing so.  Make a list of what you are going to do and how much time you are going to spend on it each day.  Stick to the schedule as closely as you can.  Be disciplined and get these tasks out of the way as soon as you start working each day.

Keeping on task is hard when there are so many online distractions.  Facebook/Skype messages, too many emails to read, browsing websites are just a few things that can easily take away our concentration on what matters the most.

Being lured by new business opportunities, that tempt us with the promise of being the next best thing, is a trap easily fallen into. Even so called passive opps take up some time, time better spent on our main objectives and main business activities.

Perseverance and patience are important qualities for success. If other’s are doing well in a reputable online business then so can you.  Take time to learn, allow yourself to be mentored and ask questions, however basic they may seem. Armed with knowledge and techniques you can work more efficiently at your efforts towards success.

This team site is there to help you learn, give you access to the experience and knowledge of more than just your immediate sponsor and to ask those questions.  Spam free forums are rare in affiliate marketing so please take advantage of them.

gold trophy

Here is an e-book for you to read which elaborates on the above :

Volume 2 of the Command More Luck Series –  Inside the Minds of Winners by Charles Burke.  You can also use this book for list building by giving it away (unaltered).  For example, give it away in return for subscribing to your newsletter.

There are some great quotes in the book which are

  • If your expectancy is to fail, then that is what you will probably do. If, however, you have absolute confidence that you are going to succeed then whatever “ups and downs” you experience you will interpret them as stepping-stones or a learning curve to your eventual success.
  • It all comes down to your choice of what it is that you allow to influence your life. There are a lot of things you can learn from others, and we need the support of “tuned in” people if we are to succeed, but it is ultimately up to you and no one else!!
  • The words “really want” and “desire” are the action words for success. Combine them with “belief” and “trust” and you have the recipe to achieve anything.

Attraction Marketing 101… Do You Want to be Wanted?

March 8, 2013 in Attraction Marketing, News

Attraction Marketing

Attraction marketing, what is it? Do You want to be Wanted? Please say yes. That is why it is called “attraction marketing“. I think that basically, we all do. It’s human nature.

So, why then,  when we first begin network marketing, do we start chasing people. Now I am not judging you, but I know that you have done it. You know how that I know you have done it?  Because I did it too. That’s right, when I first got on the internet I was 100%  monkey see, monkey do. I did not know any other way.

Attraction Marketing-What Not to Do

Join My Business

Why? Why do we chase people? Why are all these “so called” marketers out there chasing people. Because we are desperate. We want business, We want success. We want money. And we want it fast. Right here right now.But there is a much better way.

Attraction marketing is all about your audience finding you, finding out what your interest are and searching for someone like you to relate to. Not about you finding them.

This is not as hard to do as you might think. You see, I think a lot of people think attraction marketing is about building relationships with people. People that we are searching out to become friends with, so we can get them to join our opportunity.

But I think it is more about just being ourselves and focusing on “our interest“. As selfish as that may sound, if taken in the context that I am meaning, it is not. You see, if we focus on what we want, what our interest are, we are being real. We are being ourselves.

Attraction Marketing - I’m Stuck on You

Attraction Marketing – I’m Stuck on You

Like minded people with the same hobbies and interests and goals in life will see you just being real and will want to friend you and become acquainted with you, because they are just like you.

Attraction Marketing

Lesson Learned the Hard Way

I had actually decided to quit network marketing, I was getting no where and if no where was where I wanted to get, I would have been pretty successful in getting there fast.

After I had backed off awhile, something strange happened. People started  seeking me out. You see, inadvertently they must have figured that I was successful enough that I didn’t need to chase them around, and that made them curious.

That made them seek me out wanting what they thought that i had. That made them want to find out what I was doing  so that I could show them how. Let me tell you something, its nice to be wanted.

That is actually why i am here. Someone had asked me to help them and I did. And then someone else, and then someone else. Finally, someone said how about we start a team and we all help the whole team. Then we will all be successful.

By sharing our talents and skills and focusing just on what we are good at and using the skills of our team mates for the things we do not know how to do, we all grow together.

What am I saying? You mean swallow the ego? You mean that we should admit that we don’t know it all and learn and teach others. Learn and earn together? Help each other?  What the Heck? What a concept……………….
